Simmons hasn’t been the same since Hyperion… he went the ‘Plain Fiction’ route…now hopefully he is returning to form.

This one sounds interesting but not sure if I’ll read it yet. Please let us know if you’ve read this title… is it good?

Last time I heard Mr. Barker had a new Novel coming out, but then it disappeared much like Clive.

Like King Mr. Barker went on that ‘Plain Fiction’ route that really does upset. Not a good idea to leave Horror.

This is great but I think that mostly Barker fans will be reading it. There are surely millions. Meanwhile take a look at Mr. Barkers new Hellraiser comic book, it is very cool. Brand new and Mr. Barker is involved.

Horror is a hard Gig so it is a tough life for such!

Didn’t the main character in the Dead Zone by King have a trick leg as well? Maybe King is showing a preference for ‘crooked walkers’.

I had stopped reading Mr. King when he left Horror… but I’m thinking that I just might take up Under The Dome… Not even Mr. King himself can touch the ‘white fire’ of his earlier work!

Still he’s a wonderful writer! A fine storyteller is one in a billion, there aren’t many like Mr. King around.

This book appears to be as controversial as Mrs. Despentes Movie Baise-moi which I checked on Netflix and isn’t available!

Anger and or Rage are two things that our culture does tend to misunderstand. Congrats to Mrs. Despentes for keeping her edge, something that old age and lack of focus usually turns to mush.

Well, yes I doubt that we will ever see action out at Hollywood. I just think that some things take us by surprise at times.

I don’t need or like Bathroom stuff that ‘Filmmakers’ seem to think is necessary.

Lately we see people sitting on the can these days. I don’t remember Directors Spielberg, Lucas or Coppola needing to have a character taking a dump!

It’s disgusting. Women too. Wow! What happened to decency?

Or imagination. Some things don’t need to be shown… we shouldn’t have to explain.

Yet here I am explaining.

As a sensitive soul that still gets chills from A Clockwork Orange I cannot understand Hollywood’s preoccupation with making more and more violent films with OTT content, is this a reflection of American society’s attitudes or does it say something deeper about today’s world? There will (unfortuanetly) always be a market for violent films but is Hollywood trying to outdo itself because the movie viewing public are becoming jaded. Movie viewers do look for something bigger and better every time so perhaps the newest FX, car chases etc only stay “new” for a few weeks, like the shelf life of the movies themselves
